All birds listed here are either owned or bred by Peachy Keen Aviary. We do not list birds that belong to other people.
Please make sure to read our aviary policy page in full before contacting us about any bird.
For breeders interested in split mutations, feel free to contact us regarding chicks you may be interested in. If you are new to lovebirds or genetics, please keep in mind that photos of chicks do not reflect their adult colouring. Birds will only show their full adult phenotype after several feather moults, and their appearance can change dramatically as they mature.
Important Note: We will not have Indian Ringnecks or Cockatiels available until the 2027–2028 breeding season, as our current stock are still juveniles and need time to mature.
Diego – Diego had a home lined up but circumstances changed for his buyer. He hatched in May 2025 and was originally hand fed and tame, however he is currently not tame. He will be brought in over the holidays and worked with, and as he tames up, his price will increase. He is also the 2025 VICBS baby bird show hookbill champion. Diego is a Whiteface Single Dark Factor Violet Dilute (dad is dilute), split for Opaline and Pallid and Edge Dilute (aka Marbled). He would be a cherished addition to any breeding program or a great companion for a pet home if you are willing to work with him. Priced fairly at $140.
Please Note: There is a common misconception that hens do not make good pets – which is simply not true!Lovebird hens are outgoing, affectionate, and extremely intelligent. Their hormones are normal and very manageable with the right diet, living environment, and daily handling. Many of our Lovebird hens are hand-tamed, and almost all of them say a few words!
